An ivory and warm beige ground provides a quiet backdrop for sweeping dark lines that loop and intersect across the surface. Concentrated passages of turquoise, blue, violet and orange enliven the upper section, while a smaller striped motif extends down one face. The decoration changes around the vessel, balancing open areas with expressive accents of color.
