Signed "TW" Studio Pottery Bowl with Flowing Multicolor Glaze, 1980

Handcrafted studio pottery bowl signed “TW” and dated ’80, featuring a rounded body, inward-curving shoulders and an open circular mouth. The compact vessel narrows toward the base, giving its broad profile a balanced, softly sculptural appearance.

A richly varied glaze combines earthy olive-brown tones with pale blue-green, lavender and muted rose. Lighter glaze flows from the rim across the shoulders in irregular trails, contrasting with the darker, finely speckled lower body. The interior carries a deep brown glaze with subtle tonal variation.

Gentle horizontal ridges and slight variations in contour contribute to the bowl’s handcrafted character. Its rounded form and layered glaze give this signed ceramic vessel an understated Organic Modern presence.
